Home State Bank Security Policy

Home State Bank Online Banking uses the highest level of encryption that your browser will support (currently 128-bit encryption). This safeguards you from possible interception of your personal financial information over the internet. For more about 128-bit browser encryption, click here.

Secure Login:
You will be assigned a 4 digit password to enter Online Banking. This will allow you access through the 1st Time User program. You will immediately be prompted for a new, longer password. Protecting your password is important to the security of your accounts and it is to your benefit to change your password from time to time.

Secure Environment:
Our host computer is surrounded by a secure ‘firewall’ consisting of software and hardware products that control and limit the access from outside computers.

Security Reviews:
Our firewall is continuously monitored by an outside firm - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They provide reports for review to our Data Center. As always, our deposit accounts are covered by the terms, conditions and limitations of the FDIC.
