Q: How do I check my browser version and encryption (cipher strength)?
A: If you are using Internet Explorer, open your web browser, select the "HELP" menu and choose "ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER". A new box should open with information about your web browser. It should include your version number in the first line, and your "cipher strength" in the second line. Your version should be 6.x or newer, and your cipher strength should read 128 bit.
If your Internet Explorer is older than version 6.x or is less than 128 bit cipher strength, you will need to upgrade Internet Explorer.
