eStatement FAQ’s
Q What are eStatements?
A eStatements are an electronic version of your bank statement. By signing up you will no longer receive paper statements in the mail.
Q Will my statements be sent through email?
A No. An email is sent to notify you when a new statement is ready. You will log in to your online banking account to view or print your eStatement.
Q Who does the email go to?
A When enrolling you will be asked what email address you want to use for eStatement notifications.
Q Can the eStatement notification be sent to more than one email address?
A No. Any account owner signed up for online banking will have access to eStatements.
Q How long will eStatements be available for viewing?
A Your statements will be kept in Home State Bank’s main database indefinitely. Your eStatements will be maintained on our secure online banking site for 18 months and you will have access as long as your account remains active or until you cancel your online services.
Q Who can sign up for eStatements?
A You can sign up for eStatements through online banking. Only the first owner named on the account will have the ability to enroll in eStatements. Only the accounts that you have the ability to enroll will be listed.
Q What if I have a joint account with a spouse, child, or parent?
A The other person may have to log in to their online banking account in order to enroll in eStatements. If they do not have an online banking account they will need to log in as a first time user. You will need to contact a Home State Bank CSR to obtain an initial password.
